So a Microsoft tool is actually getting good reviews?  A tool for the web?

I’m writing this post from Live Writer.  Here is what I found so far:

After telling Live Writer to find the front page of my WordPress blog and entering my username and password, Live Writer discovered on its own that it was a WordPress blog and it imported my categories.

The interface is very clean.

This might make an easy application to use with my co-workers who can be a little techno-phobic, but want to contribute to the website.  Also, they don’t have to remember their username and password.

But can it edit existing entries? Update: That would be a “yes”.  After clicking “Open” on the tool bar, it gave me the option to open a file on my computer, a recently added post written in Live Writer, or a post already on my site.  Very nice.
